Humanities: Visual Art (Grade 9)

The humanities courses are required at the 9th grade level to introduce all of the students to the creative process and to help make them connections between their studies of History and English and the cultural heritage the will receive.

This course addresses these issues from the point of view of the visual arts. The emphasis on this course is on the creation of images in various media, and the historical importance of the visual arts and their shaping and reflection of various cultures.
